Inner City Pt 2: In the Thick of it
Recklessly throwing two tons of Hothlonian steel down constrained alleyways during odd hours of the day, Ax'L knew the risks he had to take to draw out Korrigan. Race after race after race, with the help of Diji he whittled down her gangs numbers by playing their own game on their own turf. As a result the track routes became more dangerous in a desperate attempt to take him down, but he'd always pull ahead, leaving them to pick the pieces of their busted rides out of the dirt, walls and pavement of Túl's many windy streets.
Ax'L would get to challenge Korrigan again, but not under the circumstances he'd hope for.
Been wanting to draw Ax'L in a regular city race for AGES, and finally found the opportunity to with this! I hope I'm getting better at drawing cities and cars and playing with lighting, in addition to pushing the mood with the widescreen bars. What I REALLY want to do is illustrate the El Camino more banged up, WHICH IS COMING, but it's super difficult to not only illustrate a car, but a damaged/crashed car.
