Three women who have inadvertently drawn the attention of bandits, try as best they can to outrun them on horseback in the middle of the forest, at night. In their race and having no other choice, they enter a forest area which is reputed to be cursed and which even the bandits fear and prefer to turn around rather than continue on their way. It is said that people who enter become monsters or they disappear forever.
