Mad Hatter Gen and the Cheshire Feep
Here's the completed image! I didn't want to just copy the Disney design or the Tim Burton one although both were obvious inspirations. I went with colors that worked together in a scheme and this one came out the best. I made the hair a bit more fanciful as well with all those curls just because it seemed to fit the image of Wonderland.
I decided to have at least one Wonderland themed image for FWA and this is what I came up with. The original will be in the art show if anyone wants to take it home. So here is Gen as the Hatter being tormented by a grinning Feep.
The original was colored on bristol board wit a copic marker base. Then colored pencils blended with turpentine were added to give it a softer gradient to the shading, and watercolor pencils were used on the hair to make it look textured. There's a touch of gelpen for hilights.
Thank you all for keeping me company during the stream! Hope you enjoy the final result.

<i>"Tuna time!" says Feep.
"Pish posh! It can wait... I'm drinking tea dear old bean."
Feep soon realized that she could not make any demands, not matter how threatening, whilst her subjects possessed cups of tea and nonchalant expressions. But she did console herself with the fact that top hats made for a fantastic way of sitting on someone's head without tearing their scalp off. </i>
Wonderful work! :D Tea makes everything better and is the solution to all adversity!
