Oh god kidney stones are the fucking worst, the last time I had one I ended up just hiding on the floor of my closet and whimpering like an animal curling up in a hole waiting to die. None of the painkillers I could get did a damn thing. Good luck.

Oh man K-stones SUCK! Never had one but several of my friends had and they would all rather have their fingernails pulled out with pliers! Do whatever you have to get rid of them and get well!1

If I can describe it properly. I was sitting there in my chair when I began to feel what was like a minor pinch on my lower left back. The pinch rapidly turned into what felt like a cramp, then became a stabbing pain within less than half a minute. As I went to lay down, the pain radiated from the lower back to the groin. Onset of nausea shortly set in as I began to get the chills, clammy skin, and shakes. The pain was high enough to feel like I was constantly getting the wind knocked out of me. Experiencing it unending for hours made me forgetful of where I was. I was completely focused on not vomiting.

Some of us are more vulnerable to it than others, and this isn't my first run in with one. But they are debilitating. Drink your water now, haha!

That sounds exactly like what they were going through! You have my deepest sympathies and hopes that the pain and discomfort will pass soon(i.e. the kidney stone!). In the meantime yes drink LOTS of water, some cranberry juice, rest and let nature take her course.
