Story:

The Wolves are a truly interesting species in Myrinian(Merian) history. Loyal to the bitter end, these beings were one of the oldest allies we had in the conquest wars. Skilled hunters and warriors, the wolves inhabited the southern forests of the Norean continent, mingling with the Humans there and sharing their faith and culture but lacking the necessary tools to truly expand. Unable to use forges or metalworking without singing their fur or killing their very sensitive senses, they mostly stayed with stone age level tools and stolen iron weapons until a deal was made. Kaius of Silver would have his people aid in the making of powerful metal tools for the wolves and even develop special bows and arrows for them so their claws wouldn't snap the string. In return, the wolves' loyalty.

Tiber and Alfia were two of the three children of the Matriarch of the wolves, Sienna (the third being Marcus) and shared their culture with the Humans. In the beginning the two were very different. Tiber was a joyous and comedic hunter, more skilled in catching prey and tracking enemies than fighting. Alfia was a serious and disciplined leader, wishing to set a good example for their people. But the war changed them.

Invasions from the a continent across the sea to the North (Skyfall) brought terrible plague, migration, and slaughter. Endless slaughter. Tiber was heading an outpost during the time and was blindsided by the assault, leaving him the only survivor. Records are not shy about the terrible things the invaders did to the wolves and Tiber was not spared horror. Tortured for information, he would sell out his people and, in his own words, caused the raid on the empire's capital of Zara. Tiber, for his efforts, was castrated and had his throat slit, left to bleed out in the snow alone.

Alfia ran efforts to get people out of the city, heartbroken to find both of her brothers had died. Never having told them she loved them, always being more of a bitter boss to them than a sister, she was elated to find Tiber had actually managed to survive, the two vowing for revenge. Gathering every able bodied wolf in their pack, moving north and killing all who resisted in the name of the Myrinians, getting the revenge they so desperately desired. After the victory, half would return home to the forests while the other half would stay in the north. A strange thing happened however. The wolves were naturally some variation of brown or black, but after their conquest north, half of them came back with stark white pelts, including Tiber and Alfia. No one is quite sure what happened and the wolves won't say but some believe the Wolves ate the northerners and thus adapted to the cold weather.

After the war, Tiber became a bitter, cold and distant wolf, rarely speaking to any but a select few people. Sources say this may just be a front, an attitude to inspire fear in the northerners but I have not been able to confirm. Alfia is now far more kind and jovial, though this also brings with it a sinister and sadistic air of superiority. It is said she is rarely seen without a smile on her face while Tiber is rarely seen with one.

For their service, Kaius placed them as "Laurels of the Northern Territories", Governors in the Myrinian Empire. Despite their deep hatred for the North and its people, they respect their culture and autonomy, collecting taxes every year and organizing trade and festivals to try and ease tempers. But the ashes of war linger in the North. Neither side has truly moved on but scared of intervention from Kaius, they keep things civil. I fear this will not last long.

Woohoo! I love getting commissions. I say that a lot don't I? Been wanting one of these characters for a long time. Meet Tiber (the male on the left) and Alfia (female on the right). Ima have some more done of these characters in time and show more about the wolves but for now... these two shall suffice. I had a little story planned with these two but it got too long so ima save it for a separate post. Enjoy these two looking badass!
I wanna thank Nikkimoryart again for making this for me. I love every piece of theirs. There is so much detail and the fur looks amazing and the expressions are perfect and ah! It's so freaking good. Please go and check them out. They deserve every bit of attention.
