She's still a bit prissy, don't mind her too much, she'll learn.

Yeah, seemed reasonably balanced, for a prissy uptight girl anyway.
And she has likely been dealing with this on a daily basis for the past two weeks, probably not the first time she’s said “Linda, Tail!” Either.
Still not nice, considering Linda seems insecure about it, but I understand the frustrated response.

I'd imagine it would be because of how much of a hazard such a big bushy upright tail would post to everything around. Like any turn near a piece of furniture is almost certain to knock everything off of it. Its like being born with a -5 to clumsiness stats. That is certain to become the source of complaints over the years.
If you think about it, this could be very similar to a woman with very large breasts, people may see it as enviable, but to the woman they are big, heavy, always in the way, likely cause back pain, and on top of it all it's the thing that everyone seems to see and focus on first, as if they are a pair of breasts first and everything else second.. It'd be enough to make some people quite self conscious..
I get Sonia's frustration from this, especially with the fact that it occurs even during training which is admittedly dangerous with their abilities considering the kinds of consequences losing focus can have. Could she have been nicer? absolutely but honestly she was actually fairly tame compared to how she would have been on day one.
