Running from the law can be hard on one's paws but at least Mr Wolf can always count on his serpentine friend when he needs a comfortable footrest for the long evenings. He's also grateful that a sock stuffed deep in their mouth will stop that footrest from making snarky remarks or protests.

The original sketch for this piece did actually have him duct taped down to the sofa coincidentally enough! But then I just felt I'd make him "not taped but still very powerless" :)
At least with that sock gag he's surely getting a good helping of smell and taste all at once!
