Self acclaimed Champion of the High Seas. Shanty had been orphaned at a young age, but was found and taken in by the notorious pirate, Captain Bravura. In his care, she studied everything she needed to know about the ways of salt and sail, and instilled the belief that the only ones who make it in life are the ones brave enough to fight to the bitter end. Tasked with proving her worth, Shanty plans to blow it out of the water by obtaining the greatest treasure in all of Foenum: The Prophet's Key. As she travels among the mainland, she faces off other champions, and the predators in her search. When a certain ungulate was about to attacked, the goat pirate rescued them in the last second. One particular champion witnessed this rescue, and asked her the question that really caught her off guard: "Are you a thief or a hero?" Recalling the recent event that happened, she knew that it shouldn't matter what befell other ungulates, but she went and protected someone anyway. She remembered how scared and helpless that prey was, just like how she was before her captain found her. She then started questioning her belief, and rethought her motivation. Eventually, she came to the decision that she could be both. She would use her pirating skills to obtain treasures to give to ungulates who really need it. And so, Shanty became a pirate who not only stole, but gave to others. She even felt like forgiving others as long as they make up for their actions. With the help of the other champions of Foenum, they all used the Prophet's Key to seal the predators once and for all. Returning to the captain, she explained all the experiences she went through, her decision with her pirating skills, and how she found a treasure greater than the key itself: friendship. Bravura became so proud of how she's grown in her travels, and told her she'll break the waves with these new experiences.
Here's the last one. I feel like Shanty's like the female version of Sinbad, so I figured to give her a reason to not only forge her own path, but also do the right thing like with John Silver in Treasure Planet.
