Calling all monsters! Get ready to explore!
Aaaaa! Hi everybody! I'm so excited to be here! (I definitely was able to sleep last night I promise)
Above are the links to both a full demo video (in case you don't wanna play it or somethin) and the demo page itself! I recommend playing it first!
The game demo consists of a few cutscenes and a dungeon to crawl through before ending- it'll save your progress for future updates and then you won't be able to play on that save until a later time (so enjoy the dungeon as much as you'd like!)
Things of note:
- The estimated play time is roughly an hour, maybe a little more if you have no idea how to play a Mystery Dungeon type game!
- There are 10 selectable monsters for yourself and your partner: Magnamalo, Tobi-Kadachi, Nargacuga, Farunokku, Barioth, Mizutsune, Rathalos, Rathian, Pukei-Pukei, and Zinogre
- Personality Quiz is a little bit jank because only 10 of the 20 monsters are in, feel free to take it anyway if you'd like! (Reminder that you can disable it in the settings!)
- Partners cannot be selected if they are the same Primary Element as you (Tobi cannot have Farunokku partner) or Primary Attribute as you (Magnamalo and Barioth are both power monsters) This could be subject to change in the future, but I don't wanna risk any team composition being too unbalanced for later explorations!
- Please check the game pages' Known Issues category, it has something about unfreezing your game if it somehow manages that (I think it's all fixed, just there as an emergency panic button for the demo) (TLDR: Hit DELETE if game broke)
- By completing this demo or Chapter 1 when it is released, you'll get a badge on your save file that looks similar to a sunset of some kind. You won't be able to collect this after Chapter 2 is released!

I just heard of this on a discord channel tried it seems very well done so far can't wait til chapter 2. though I did notice that compared to the video I saw on YT movement was slower for some reason and I think the camera was zoomed out more... Wonder if it is the resolution of my computer causing it I heard of some unity games possibly having bugs at some resolutions.
hm, I'd love to learn more! Can I ask what resolution your monitor is? As for the game running slowmo- I'm wondering if you have any external program limiting or forcing FPS or anything? Just curious and sorry for any inconveniences! Thanks for the feedback and for trying it out! ^vv^
I can't imagine monster mystery is allowed on steam officially lol, however I have seen people play all sorts of stuff on steamdeck (including this game! Which I assume is just windows emulation or something, I haven't looked into that)
If there's some way to export it to easily play over there (without putting it on the steam store lol) I would do it, but I'm not sure how to be honest >vv< thanks for the suggestion though, lemme know if you know something I don't! >vv<;
