I brought some worldbuilding\lore about the world most of my characters are from!
There's a lot of space travels in a plot, but It's still a fantasy genre, trust me xdd

- The Reach is a world isolated from the external universe, conventionality divided into 4 major layers with their own peculiarities. Unlike Earth, the layers centered on the axis of The Reach and don't depend on the planet's location, moreover, Luria is located almost at the edge of the atmosphere.

- Luria is the only known and inhabited planet of The Reach. Compared to the Earth, it is much larger, but otherwise very similar - almost completely covered with water.

- The Stellar reach is a home for the Oterstel - one of the most ancient races, the living stars. The orbit of the light source lies along the boundary of this layer and the atmosphere.

- In The Kernel reach only the very first and the oldest Oterstels are found in solitude, this layer has become a home for a wild comet birds, Kernels. There is still at least some life here, although the layer becomes more and more empty as it further from the center. Here the magical background begins to weaken.

- The Distant reach is absolutely silent, empty and lifeless. The echoes of the magic are barely perceptible here, and it's easy to get lost in pitch darkness. Moving further, you'll found anomalous streams of water that will occur more and more often - they are attracted by the shimmering source of light, the only one in this endless wasteland.
