Animal hoarding is a growing problem, that touches many communities in America. Unexplained and misunderstood by psychologists and family members, it can go unnoticed until it reaches the point of being a criminal activity. It causes health problems in both animals and people alike, and can leave the animals in such a situation feral, unsocialized, or fighting life threatening illnesses.
