Last year we had started a little project called "Myhtober", where each day of October we'd draw the lineart of a chibi mythological creature, and these would have eventually been put all together in a tiny coloring book. In the end we didn't have the time to go through with that, but this doesn't mean we can't revive the project in another form ;)

So expect a little creature to pop up in your feed sometimes, and today's myth is... the djinn! They're creatures from Islamic culture and pre-Islamic Arabia, mentioned in the Quran has another sentient species that lives alongside humans, able to practice magic. They're mostly invisible to the human kind, but they're also deft shapeshifters that can appear as snakes, or humanoids often featuring strange traits like horns or goat feet. They are also known by their anglicized names of genies, and while there's stories featuring them living inside rings and lamps, it's not exactly their norm (despite Disney's take).
