Beaky Bay Birdies playing home, but they find themselves trailing 4 to 3 as we enter the bottom of the ninth inning. The tension in the air is palpable, as each pitch could be the difference between heartbreak and victory.
Flurrabell swings with every ounce of his being, connecting with a deafening crack of the bat! The ball soars high into the sky, a majestic arc against the canvas of the stadium. Outfielder beaver race back, their eyes locked on the ball as it sails over the fence. The crowd is on its paws, their roars merging into a symphony of joy.
This is how baseball legends are made of!

Flurrabell, which represents a very important time, with a game that was able to cope with a peaceful mind during most of the pandemic, featuring in the stands people who helped him through the lockdown.
Also it has been one of the illustrations I've taken the most time to complete. I started it on March when suddenly the forearm pain started that avoided me to keep drawing for 3 months. Once I started drawing again, I did some first smaller drawings before continuing this big piece, taking many days due drawing in a very slow pace, only few moments per day; when suddenly a second pain stroke back and I had to pause drawing for another two weeks. I could face that second replica with some exercises and discipline, and I could continue this piece until finally finishing it. So it took me around 5 months to complete.
I don't complain, I had a lot of fun working on this piece, from figuring out the composition of shapes, characters and stadium, the position of the view to be able to see all the narrative that this scene required, studying and watching many baseball games. Then figuring out the color composition to make arrows with the shadings to the main character. It has been definitely one of my favorite illustrations to work on, despite it took me longer than how I was used to.

Words can't describe how super cute, cool, and magical this drawing is Paco!
I love how the baseball stadium looks like Polo Grounds, the super cute baseball uniforms for both teams, how the bird hits a home run in the most important part of the game, how happy the bird is when he hits a home run, the pig's shocked facial expression, and how super detailed the audience in the stands look the best!!!!
Plus bonus points for drawing a baseball theme drawing! My chubby husky sona loves to play baseball!!!! His baseball team name would probably be the Central Caketopia Cakey Huskies, XD.
You should be very proud of yourself, Paco!!!! You are one of the few artist that I know that really takes time to make everything you draw as best as possible...... especially the backgrounds (which most artists don't do).
Seeing your art always makes my day better. You always show me why you are my favorite artist ever!!!! So proud of you and keep up the awesome job!!! You are one of the most dedicated and hardest working artist that I know, Paco. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
