Sneakers with that kind of outfit? I've got to question that sense of fashion; I'm not sure how it works for Poker players but I'd imagine something slightly more formal would be in order.

The players I've seen aren't all formal, and even if they are they're not strictly formal. Many have their own style, they wear whatever they want.
I mainly wanted to keep his clothes consistent. The shoes and gloves are the same as what he usually wears.
I suppose if he were at a formal formal event, he would wear all white gloves, a tux, and nice shoes. I might have to draw that.

The color of the shoes makes sense as a "fourth glove"-- you know, completing the set of red, yellow, and green. I'd just experiment with some different ways of presenting it.
