During the Cowboy Shoot I was firing at the targets.
Got through the rifle targets without incident.
Got through the shotgun targets without incident.
Started firing with the pistol and got through five rounds in the left pistol without incident... (Apparently if you are safety conscious, you should leave first chamber empty so that you don't accidently perforate your foot when drawing your pistol from it's holster because period pistols lack safety switches... Pretty good information to know.)
The second pistol however had a slight mishap. One of the rounds seems to have a little too much black powder in it and the force wound up cracking the cylinder making it unusable.
I was uninjured and since our host/Posse leader H.K. Uriah had brought a few spares along so we collectively decided to continue the shoot.
Then when Doity Skunk stepped up to the next shooting gallery, things got interesting...
