A new piece featuring my Aarakocra, Akida!
More to Akida's story-
His people were created by alchemical experiments using the DNA of Rocs, which in Erathia, are large hawk-like birds of prey. The size of small dragons, even. When the first of his kind escaped the evil sorcerer who intended to use them as scouts and assassins, they formed their own settlement at the base of a mountain, where one such Roc resides. They took up a belief that every generation must give one individual as a sacrifice to the Roc, for a blessing. Akida was one such chosen one, but he had other plans than just being a sacrifice. It was while he was on the run, that he met the adventuring party that helped him return to change the views of his people, and even going to slay the Roc they once revered!
