kagetora, harutora and nobutora along with tony, are the sons of hakuro and kurotora.

before GOJ: before the events of the mikami arc, tragedy struck when tony and his friend were attacked by russian syndicates, lead by nicholai. the only things left of Tony was an eyeball, a left leg and a right arm. the family was devastated. enraged and hysterical, kurotora wanted to go and kill whoever killed his son but had to be restrained by great and was brought out of his hysterics by a slap from hazuki.

arc 1: the day after james, mora and mozart arrived, the three were introduced to the three by sara and kisame. they were impressed by mozart kicking hakuro's ass yesterday.

later on in hokkaido, they wre shocked to find their brother tony with an island elder, alive and well, however they discover to their dismay that he has amnesia.

arc 2: after gin, minazuki and gin and john's children were kidnapped by nicholai and tegan, civil war broke out when a bully of ren, the adopted son of kyo and yukina was killed and ren chased out. kurotora, kagetora, nobutora and harutora along with tony and his friends from the elder faced the opposing fighters. however during the fight, tony gets punched in the face and knocked his head on the wall. this however removed his mind block and brings back his memories, both the good and the bad. after the fight, tony is reunited with his family. when hakuro returns, tony hugs his father.

arc 3:
5 years after the island arc and civil war, tony tells kagetora, nobutora, harutora, ken, george and minnie aboult what happened during that fishing trip years ago, how he and his friend were attacked by the russian syndicates and how nicholai cut off his leg and arm and gougeing his eye out. the eight of them then followed moss, tesshin, izou and shirozaru to tokyo international airport where they join them in a plane trip to los angeles and then new york city.

while james was rushing to the roof of the building to help tomek fight nicholai, he was surrounded by more of nicholai's goons. suddenly, the window of the room smashed, as a koga ninja, a husky, a kishu, four kai-ken/husky mixes, and three great dane/saluki mixes, jumped in through the window and started fighting the goons. james was shocked to reconise them as tesshin, izou, shirozaru, kagetora, nobutora, harutora, ken, george and minnie. the four kai kens wanted revenge on nicholai for trying to destroy their family while ken wanted to repay the dept for james after saving Ken's life from kamakiri.
