Throughout the halls of PCA a new rumor is going through.
"Hey you heard about the Shadow Runner?"
"You mean that mon that is seen running around the city at night?"
"Yeah! Everyone's talking about him. No one can catch him, heck no one even has gotten a good look at him. So no one has no idea of what species he is or if he's even a he."
"But I heard people say that he's too small to be an adult so people saying that he might even be a student."
"You think from our school?"
"Maybe. He wears that weird mask so no one knows. But there has been some claw marks left on various walls around the city. So that might be a clue."
"A clue?! Those marks could be from anyone!"
"Well you can try to find him. You just have to look through his street running route and try to catch him. He's the one in a hoodie, sweatpants, and that weird mask. But here's a warning everyone who has tried to beat the Shadow Runner has been left in his dust."
"I wonder who he is....."
"He is the fastest mon ever is all I can say"

Meanwhile in the cafeteria our favorite Monferno boy, Goku, overhears this and tells his friends. "You guys, have you been hearing about this Shadow Runner guy? It seems these rumors are everywhere."
His Aipom friend Andy was not surprised. "Eh it's just a rumor. I bet that guy doesn't even exist. Right Sly?" He asked his sleeping Sneasle friend.
"Huh? Right... just rumors." She said as she rubbed her eyes sheepishly.
"You ok Sly?" Goku asked.
"Yeah.... *yawn* Just couldn't get any sleep last night... Wake me up when lunch is over." Sly says as she takes a small nap.

Also yeah a new hardcore runner/ street runner in the streets of Viridian City and everyone's a buzz about it. Now let the rumors of The Shadow Runner spread! Muahahahahahahaha!!!! >:D
