So, I've decided to make a more complete, reference sheet for my character, dusting off some of the rust that summer put on me as it sapped my motivation away ! I might do a ref sheet for his specie too !

Atanor is a weird creature always wanting to experiment with absolutely everything and loving to trick people into accepting a role in his little fun times, his transformation and soul magic canonically unable to have much of an effect on unwilling targets after all. Though, the target of his spell doesn't need to STAY willing after the cast ~. He is surely the gemagon using the most his reformation feature... as this behaviour tend to put him in some... let's say trouble.
A bit of background (It means : Serious canon part ahead) :
Atanor Nylis is a gemagon, a creature having its soul protected inside a gem and able to produce a more normal body from it. even if that's the main trait for his kind, his gem was stolen right before he hatched, magically put in the hands of a wizard somewhere. That made him quite weak since a gemagon soul without a gem cannot really survive that long and cannot help developing the first body they get. Glossing over some details, thankfully this was retrieved five years later by his older brother. Though, this whole time had some consequences on him. Thankfully going away the more he ages.
- He's body is weaker than any of his kind. Even when big the only advantage he might have is more mass.
- Knowing what it feels to not have his gem, he can't help himself but celebrate having it by giving in almost all of his impulsive thoughts.
- He can't fly normally, just "glide" slightly slower than a free fall. his brother enchanted that black circle so he could, right on his soul so it will reform with him, though that does mean he'd be falling in an antimagic field, making him prefer more and more wingless forms. That seem to never goes away as he gets older.
There are more little things here and there but it's not that important to give an exhaustive list.
