Their name is Ash because when stick burn it turn to ash. Stick will most probably die via exhaustion/starvation/dehydration rather than fire though, but my zodiac signs are both fire so I would imagine that Ash's powers would be both wood and fire related. I'm thinking like fire bending but in the shape of leaves and trees and also being able to manipulate plants! (with the caveat that if they mess around with the plants too much they might catch fire)
