I adore this tiny green creature.

Wallace called from the other room, "Hey Frank, have you seen Zeke?"

Frank looked up from pouring the black, steaming liquid into the cup that Zeke was holding. "Yeah! He's in here with me. Just having some coffee." He looked at the kobold and cautioned them that the beverage was very hot. "Take it slow," he said softly. "Enjoy it."

Zeke sniffed at the cup, then did as he was told and took a slow sip. As the nectar of the gods of haste flowed into the kobold's belly, Wallace called out, "What in the world is that noise?!"

Frank saw Zeke start to blur, and it was at this moment he knew, he f'd up.
