In lieu of dropping this whole tribal thing I've had going on starting with the aboriginal kangaroo, I wanted to expand this odd, sudden universe with an enemy: Makodi, the chief of the croccoli tribe.
I didn't want to make him hail from the same culture as the kangaroo, so I decided to hop on over to neighbouring islands and went with that instead.
Tattoos were out of the question, so I came up with lore that the deep purple stains are from peeling off the scales and dipping the body parts in a purple dye for days on end. This is very painful, but it is seen as a rights of passage into maturity in his tribe.
Also, I realized too late that I made the resolution a bit big for furaffinity's liking, so I forgive the weird blurriness. Oh well!

My canon at the moment is that he's part of a barbaric tribe whose culture revolves around plundering and pillaging, and those who successfully lead a complete wipeout are deemed as leader and the most attractive male.
