Okay ... let it be known that I have ALWAYS liked the Crux species (long before I started tentatively dabbling with SL), but hadn't really known what kind of character I wanted to create until recently.

I got sick and tired of the fact that 90% of the crux I have encountered within this fandom are either assholes, crazies, or at the very least, pretty damn "off", SO ... I sought to defy this slowly-engulfing stereotype of "Crux-sonas" and made one I felt was as true as possible to the idea and the concept of the Crux species. And since I'm not crazy or a bitch (weeeeell sometimes ^.^), I figured I'd help balance things out a bit. =3

There's really not much more I can add here that isn't already covered within this ref and the next one I'm about to post, other than the fact that I do plan on drawing Ophie in some clothes sometime soon. Since he/she comes from a steampunk-esque pseudo Victorian universe, there's a lotta cool clothing possibilities there to take advantage of. =D

He/she has a non-crux friend, too, who I completed awhile back from school. His ref sheet will be posted up after both of Ophie's. Such a productive evening! ^_^
