Slipstream and Eelectron couldn't stop the villain

Slipstream the manta ray heroine throws her signature water manta projectile!
Darius the synthetic dragon splashes it apart with his dark tentacle from his portal!
He flies off at her! Grabs her by the throat and holds her up! Summons his sword from his portal— and stabs her for a quick KO!
Eelectron the electric hero rips the sword outta his grip with his magnetic power!
Darius simply tosses the unconscious Slipstream at him.
They get shocked together and are left smoking, as Darius walks away...

With it being Ikai'ap who have been the subjects of being rendered unconscious via bloodless stabbing in the artwork, I guess it's perhaps down to a biological quirk.
Poor Slipstream and Eeelectron, though perhaps they're fortunate that Darius was in a fairly good mood, given he's just gone on his way and left them there.
