Just a little doodle practice that actually turned into something. I was working small on an old Surface Pro 4 rather than the usual Cintiq, which is why the finished sketch is on the small side. But I like how it came out, so I thought I'd put it up. I suppose this is an army captain in the Freelands Army. Not sure who he is yet but he might become someone if I think about it long enough. :)
Edit: Somewhat ironically given the subject matter, the last half hour or so I was finishing the piece up, I was repeatedly listening to Peace Train by Cat Stevens (https://youtu.be/M9cJRqsKZKo?si=vQWYIGF14jcz6djO). It came out when I was very very young and then, for some reason, had a big renaissance around the time I started high school. I think it's a great song. :)
