so this one has a short story, idk how frequent i will do it in the future, so i guess enjoy this only story i have written lol
As the day started, he already knew that he might not live to see another, as he finally reached his destination, the lands of the most evil and dark being on the world, the way has been long and treacherous, but at last he was here to avenge the kingdom that Schoria had scorch some moons ago.
The lone knight tough, at last i am here, my journey for better or worse ends here, as he tough on how he, he alone could kill such a beast the reality of his objective finally got to him, as he left his destroyed home, he got call a fool, an idiot, he wanted to show he wasn't a coward, but it seem to show his lack of thinking and wisdom, tough everyone told him that one must accept the reality that this kind of dragon is not to be mess with he wanted to show his force, his spirit, now so close, all of that was out of his mind, as he saw the evil beast far away.
He walked slowly to the beast, as she laid resting between some big cliffs, he tried to craft a plan, to just cut her neck as she sleeps, to make fall some giant stones fall so she would end up crushed, but none of them end up to his liking, the lack of honor on them, tough he also did not like to wake her up to have a fair fight, after all she was a giant, and him a mere human, a knight ordain by his lord, but a human at the end. He remember the day, were she saw for first time the beast, he was training with the city militia, a day like any other, perhaps a bit colder, maybe a message for was what to come, as the sun was at its zenith, the world around him when dark, even darker than the nights without moon, BOOOOOOOM he heard as he got thrown to the air, falling head first to the ground, there is a reason to always wear a helmet, he tough, after a moment of absolute silence he heard a loud booming voice,
“OH, what do we have here, it seems it is a little city that needs some remodeling, where shall we start?”, when he finally stood up and saw who was saying that, saw the giant dragon that effortless took a tower from the castle with her paw, her claws as big as the tower, and she seem to occupy all the sky in front of him, quickly he gather the city militia that was nearby, “Our city need us!” he yell, as they went running to the city’s plaza, where the dragon had landed, he observe as his lord, went out of the castle to talk to the beast, distract it my lord, so we can struck down the beast, he tough as he got closer and closer to the plaza, in the puzzle that was the city’s roads.
Once he was around the corner from the plaza, he got stopped as some people stood in the way, just looking at the towering beast, tough he tried to push and get through to help his lord, he was unable to pass through the people, so reluctantly he had to stay there just looking.
“But yes, i want that, i want all your gold, all your animals, and most importantly all of your sweets and cakes” he heard the dragon said, now finally paying attention to the conversation between the beast and his lord, “No, you won't have not a penny shingle from us, the gods protect this city, attack us and you will unleash their wrath upon you” respondes his lord, how right he is, the knight tough, with a loud and mocking laugh the dragon responded, “yeah, right, i heard that soooo many times, i will be nice today, let me show you”, she stood up from the plaza, then took on her claws the lord, and put him where she was sitting before, to then sit on the castle, as she did that, it completely was destroyed, reduce to rubble, the castle couldn't even be saw below the beast, then spread her wings taking all of the sky as hostage, the knight finally notice the full size of the beast, as not even the tallest tower of the now gone castle reached the top of her paws, tough thinking about the tower it took when it arrived, the paw wasnt so big, or i got hit quite strongly on the head, or i swear that it was smaller before, he tough, also seeing how big the beast muscles where, now he was scared for what could mean this demonic visit to the city.
“oh, no what I have done, it seems that I might, just might have crushed your tiny castle,” the beast said mockingly, “what a pity, now, where are your gods? i don't see any…” she said as she looked left and right, “now what do you say ‘lord of the ants’? Do I have my tribute or not?” she asked, making a smile showing its teeth, “the answer still is no” just as the lord finished the sentence, the beast responded, “very well, then is time for some remodeling! oh wait i think you gods are here, opps! i am fainting” she said with a grin as she fell down the city.
The knight saw how the sky went darker and darker as the behemoth fell down, the wind became stronger and stronger until finally manage to throw him and everything that wasn’t tied to the ground, then a deafening BOOOOOOOM as the giant crashed and after it the only thing that passed through his mind was the constant sound of buildings being crushed and or thrown away. Tough rumble keep being thrown everywhere, he could see a how he was trapped between the giant’s body and wings that covered the sky with a orange cape that tinted the hole area, this truly looks like an inferno, he tough, then as the behemoth rose once more debris hit the knight in the head knocking him out, what he remember once he wake up was the sheer destruction and desolation of his once home, nothing was left but rubble and ashes, i don't know if i should be grateful or sad to be alive after this, with just a sense of sadness he help in trying to rebuild the city, and as days passed, the sadness was washed away by hate, the same hate that now fuel him now that at last was next to the demon.
Once more he debated in his rage, honor or dishonor?.He debated between waking the beast or not, to kill it as is sleeping, or to have a fair fight by waking it up, as he finally got a few steps from the beast snout, he clashed his sword against the shield, at last he decided that whatever happens, it will be with honor.
Clank clank clank … Clank clank clank, he heard as he kept clashing the shield and sword, waking the beast was taking more time than expected, Clank clank clank … Clank clank clank, and again and again, until at last the giant eyes open up slowly, “Screw off”, the giant said, then close its eyes, great, the knight tough, he kept clashing his weapons, Clank clank clank, then the giant dragon let a massive jawn, showing teeth as big as the knight.
“You truly want to die, don't you?” The giant spoke slowly, “if you want I can kill you tomorrow, today I am resting”.
“No, I want a fair fight, here and now”, the knight responded.
The dragon chuckled, “yeah, right a fight, i don't think it will be one”, it said mockingly.
“It will be, now stand on guard, here and now, I will avenge my city and my lord! “The knight spoke as he prepared himself to fight.
“Oooh, you are one of those knights”, the dragon said, then stood up and stretch its massive body, showing its massive muscles from neck to tail, “as i said, it won't be a fight, and i would pretty much want to rest today, but i guess you won't let me sleep until we ‘fight’ ”, making air quotes as it said that.
Then the doubt that the knight had once the dragon attacked his city was finally responded, as he saw the dragon towering him, several times taller than a building, but then he saw how the dragon keep getting bigger and bigger, if when he wake up the beast its snout was as big as him, now it was easily five times bigger, its claws where growing and growing, slowly getting closer to him as they expanded, the confidence of the knight slowly disappeared, and after a few seconds the dragon spoke “you don't seem too confident now, what happen?” it said with a wide smile, “i told you it wouldn't be a fight, i am a dragon that keeps its word… now i am ready, i will let you attack first, come here” it said as it loomed over the now miniscule knight. The knight knew he won't be able to win, but he didn't make all the way there just to surrender at the last moment, and so he charged forward, planning to cut a finger of the beast which was the only thing at his reach, he run toward the colossal demon, but as he did so, he notice that he was going slower and slower, looking at some nearby rocks he saw how they grew and grew, as he keep running he observe how everything was getting bigger and bigger, wait, they are not getting bigger, I AM GETTING SMALLER, he realized the dragon that was already looming over him, now seem like the biggest mountain that could exist, if before he could reach its claws with some difficulty, now it was impossible as it would be needed to be twenty times taller to get to them, then thirty, then fourty, then fifty, then the dragon spoke, “ooops, i think i might have overdid it just a tiny bit”.
“this is unfair” cried the knight, “this must be a fair fight”
“fair” the dragon naked a gagging expresion, “i dislike that concept, plus you wake me up” it said, as put its eye on top of the miniature knight, its eye, hundreds of times bigger than him, “you look kinda cute being so small, i could almost have pity but my mercy it's even smaller than you, like waaaay smaller”, the dragon chuckled, “would you like to see how small?”
“Please no” the knight said defeated, “fine you win, i surrender to you, sir” he continued, bowing to the dragon as he offered his sword.
“first i am a she not a ‘sir’, second…” the dragon spoke, then the knight felt that his sword was getting heavier and heavier, the felt how the dragon took it, “mmm it's a fine sword, tough it wont help to earn my forgiveness from waking me up” the dragon said as she make the sword grow until she could use it normally, “Now, since you surrender without saying anything more, means i can put whatever terms i see fit” the dragon continued, as she played with the sword moving it around, “i think, i think, that you could be use for some fun, how sounds having to fight some lions and tigers that will be far bigger than you?” the dragon said as she looked at the tiny knight, a mere dot on her view, “Yeah, i think it fits… now i will make sure you will have to wake them up since you seem to like to do that, don't worry, that will be tomorrow, as for today” the dragon continue, then punched a hole in the ground with her paw, then pick the small knight, and put him on the bottom of the hole, “now stay there, tomorrow you will have quite some fights”, then she put herself on top of it, shaking the ground as she left her body fall, “have a dark day little one”, the dragon said as she went to sleep again.
