Minazuki slowly opened his eyes. He slowly got up to find himself, gin and his and John's children in a prison cell. “Where...are we?’ Minazuki asked himself as he looked out the porthole in the cell. He could see the ocean going past outside.
“The ocean? Then, we must be on a freighter.’ thought minazuki as he stared out the porthole. He then knelt back down to gin and started to gently shake him. “Gin, wake up,'' said minazuki. Gin slowly woke from his deep sleep and saw minazuki. “Mi-minazuki...what happened?’ said gin as he got up slowly. “Gin, those bastards that attacked ohu town must have shot some sort of drug at us,'' said minazuki. “Right now, we’re on a freighter heading out to sea.’ “To sea?'' asked gin, as Minazuki helped him up. Gin went to the porthole and looked out. “You’re right.’ said gin. “Where are they taking us though?’
'Never thought you two would wake up.’ said a voice. Gin and Minazuki looked at the bars to see a familiar female ninja leaning by a wall, arms folded and watching them from the shadows. “You! What is this place?! Where are you taking us!?’ exclaimed minazuki as he grabbed the two bars with his hands. 'If I tell you where, it would ruin the surprise for you two now, would it?’ said tegan as she walked towards them, the light exposing her outfit.
“Why have you kidnapped us?'' asked gin. He again noticed something familiar about tegan, such as the outfit. It looked like something akame and the igas wore.
“Why, as bait for your pathetic army and akame of course,'' said tegan. “That stubborn old fool will regret the day he attempted to ruin my life.’
'Why do you hate Akame and what has he ever done to you to make you do this?’ asked minazuki. Tegan clenched her fists as she turned away from gin and minazuki. “If you both want to know the truth, then fine.’ Said Tegan as she walked towards a porthole to look out. “Do you remember the war between the igas and the kogas? The battle between Akame and Kurojaki? When they fought over those pathetic scrolls?” asked tegan. “His sons, Jinnai and Kirikaze fought in that battle. However, Akame never told any of you about a secret that he kept hidden for many years.'' 'What secret?’ asked minazuki. “Years ago, Akame's wife gave birth to four children. Two of them were jinnai and kirikaze. The fourth was the youngest, shirozaru.” Said Tegan. “The third born however was a female. Akame, on the wishes of his dying wife, raised the daughter to be the next iga leader.’
Gin's eyes widened when he realised what she was getting at. “Wait….you’re not….’ he started in shock.
“Oh yes,'' said Tegan, looking back at them. “I am the daughter of Akame, and the original heir to his iga clan.’

Gin and Minazuki stared in shock at Tegan who told them the full story.
“And now you know the true story of our past. So here’s a word of advice “lord” gin: always do a background check on the history of your allies and friends. You never know what secrets they hold in their past.” Said Tegan as she started to walk to the stairs.
“Wait!” Exclaimed gin, causing Tegan to stop.
“If you are who you said you are, then why do you hide your face under that red mask that you are wearing now?” He asked.
Tegan looked back at gin. “You want to see what I look like? Very well then.” She said as she pulled the red ninja bandana off her lower face and forehead. Gin and Minazuki stared in stunned shock at the kishu in front of them, who looked just like akame but younger and feminine. “Now do you see how Akame wanted me to be his heir to the iga's?” Asked Tegan. “Well now he’ll have another thing coming for trying to ruin my life. Now, you will be brought up to the deck soon. We have a little “presentation” to show you.” Said Tegan as she turned to walk up the stairs again.
