I think he treats his Samurai Edge with a kind of perverted sentimentality, so he would use it at any opportunity, and not just in re1 and in re5. And the choice of his clothes in the Remake seems to me strangely unsuitable for what he would really wear, but that's just my opinion. No headcanons for appearance because I see Ken from Barbie in him-
