a few people, possibly as many as three, suggested rotating the pieces from https://www.furaffinity.net/view/51225971/, which I thought would be easy! Therefore it wasn't. Since I wanted this to be less sketchy, have more frames and include the full body. And the pieces I started with turned out to not match very well! The animation program's tablet support also isn't up to par with what I would ordinarily draw a high resolution picture with so the lines remain rough and splotchy. I didn't even try to make the tail views be the same.
HOWEVER it has led to an interesting result.

thank you! I tried to preserve the colors from the original drawing(s). When I sorted them into a palette I was left with more of them than I thought I had used initially, and aseprite's keyboard commands for selecting the next and previous palette spaces ensured I used each copiously.
