"Can I take if off now honey?"

Playis asked excitedly as the Giz brought the truck to a halt and put it into park. Turning her head to and fro to try to figure out his plan as her eyes remained coveted by the blindfold.

"Soon sweetie pie, soon, don't spoil the suprise just yet!"

Giz was very obviously excited. He'd been planning this for months, a little special something to celebrated the couple's third anniversary. He stepped out of the truck and grabbed the party favors from the backseat, a blanket and basket loaded with the fixings for a romantic picnic in the woods.

Setting these down in the bed of the truck, he went over to the passenger side door and brought playis out by the hand, pulling the bandana from her eyes and grinning at her happily.

Behind him was a fairly picturesque forest. A small dirt trail led to a path between the tall birch trees. Wild flowers dotted the soft grass of the forest floor as a warm summer breeze hit the couple.

Still holding her by the hand. He smooched her on the cheek and pulled her in for a hug.

"So, whatcha think? I figured you n I would have a little picnic lunch and spend some time in the woods, I was able to book us some reservations at that fancy place in town too, with the apple tart you lov-"

Before he could finish, playis bleated happily and kissed him right on the snoot, burying her muzzle against his neck as she hugged him tightly.He laughed, Leaning into the hug and rubbing her back. She held him there for a little longer before letting go with a second bleat.

"I take it you're excited as I am then?"

She nodded quickly. "Yessums! You had me at apple!"

Gathering the supplies, the pair walked hand in hand through the woods, taking in the peace and quiet of the woods, finding a perfect spot, Gizmo set up the blanket, then started to unpack the food from the basket.

A bottle of good wine that cost him half of a month's wage during his time in Lancer. Some cheese, grapes and most importantly of all, apples.

After grabbing a few wild flowers, to give playis, he sat down and pulled her into his lap. Quickly getting to work on cutting up an apple to feed his beloved doe.

"I love you so Playis, you really are the best gal a guy could ever ask for."

She hooked her arm under his, the two sharing a moment of passionate eye contact as he fed her another slice, she chewed it happily and gave her hooves a happy wiggle.

"And you're my pubber, always and forevers?"

Moving in and pressing his muzzle to hers, he kissed her for a good long while.

"Forever and always~"
