Waddle ^{a character by Banzo} is a living scribble of a ferret who can change his form. The first time I saw him was in an attack on my self, and I mistook him for a drawing of my character Vinny (oops). The former appeals to a lot of my proclivities that had inspired me to create the latter, so I wanted to draw them together. The first idea was to have the two supersize into glorious kaiju and start grappling. The second was Vinny as a boat captain equipped with a harpoon gun and out for blood, unaware of a seabeast Waddle directly behind. (This would have been the second attack to feature my own OC about to be surprise vored by a whale morph.) Neither did a great job of showing Waddle's personality. So, how about: Vinny takes the offensive, baring his fangs, trying to instill fear. But the ferret thinks he's just giving him a unique hug. I want to him to transform though, so: guy thinks "how cool! lets both be snakes together!" and turns into a plump ol' tsuchinoko. And then I remembered I had a ferret^kinda character too, so I drew Champ getting doppelganged by Waddle, who sees that flesh hat as some kind of fashion statement.
