Been practicing with note pads recently for October drawings. Thanks, I went for a random fantastical guitar thing because I felt it fit the scene somehow

Rather coincidentally, there is apparently a guitar-like instrument here called a "Buktot" that I just now found out about. Also thanks again

Oh yes. Now I was thinking about those Lizards. Planting Rice - will get a Rice Crop and they could also get food from Fish or Frogs in the Rice Paddy, from Insects going after the Rice plants and even from Rodents that want to eat the Rice.

Funnily enough, I didn't know that lizards can't eat rice until yesterday which is why my later concept for this pic would be the two farmer friends/brothers are farming rice for the reasons you described as well as for money and food trade

I was remembering some stuff i'd read in an old magazine article on rice farming in your country with some creative additions for what Lizards eat normally. Some of the big ones in my area will eat mice and baby rats.

Also yeah, rats are basically lizard popcorn if the number of feeding videos I've seen online are to be believed

Was a National Geographic from the 1960s. I haven't had the paper issues for decades, I do have 108 years of issues in CD ROM format. Was an article about the peoples of the northern Philippines. I would have to search for the article. Did find a nice image from National Geographic. https://media.nationalgeographic.or.....48fa1606f9.jpg. That is very impressive
