'An un-dead construct, say the augurs - stitched together from a variety of donors. Hence the first part of the name - second part comes from the fact that it's the size of a mammoth. I can see why they'd think that, but I'd like to see what died to give it the parts. Dragon skulls don't come in those kinds of sizes.'

'It ranges farther than you'd think something so massive should be able to in the Subterrane - like it knows passages, big ones, that we've somehow missed. I've always figured it has more the aspect of an explorer than a beast.'
