In Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek, 40 Eridani is a trinary star system comprised of a giant primary star, 40 Eridani A, and two other stars. The other two stars in the system are a red dwarf and a white dwarf, 40 Eridani B and 40 Eridani C. The stars of the 40 Eridani group support the Vulcan system, the home system of the Vulcan race and their homeworld of Vulcan. It is visible from Earth in the constellation of Eridanus located approximately 16.45 light-years distant. Based on the 40 Eridari system from Live Action 1966-1969 tv show Star Trek: The Original Series.

40 Eridari A (Keid, Omicron2 Eridani A): A Orange dwarf star is easily visible to the naked eye.
Ket-Cheleb: A Light Brown Mercury-like planet, closer to the Vulcan's Star.
Vulcan (aka Ni'Var): A Red Terrestrial planet which means, As the Vulcan homeworld, Vulcan was the capital planet of the Confederacy of Vulcan, and a founding world in both the Coalition of Planets and United Federation of Planets. Following the Romulan Supernova of 2387 and prior to the 32nd century, Romulans settled on the planet after the successul Reunification. The joined inhabitants renamed their world to Ni'Var.
T'Khut (Known as The Watcher): A Orange Yellow Venus-like planet with volcanic activity.
-T'Rukhemei (Known as Amma): A Brown Luna-like moon.
Delta Vega: A Ice Terrestrial Planet which means, was a class M planet located in the Vulcan system, its orbit around its star brought it close enough to the planet Vulcan that the Vulcan homeworld could be seen from the surface of Delta Vega. The planet featured an icy terrain, and was home to at least two native predatory species: the hengrauggi and the drakoulias. The planet was also the location of a largely automated Starfleet outpost.
Tel-Alep: A Tan Rocky planet.
Kal-Apton: A Green Yellow Gas Giant with 89 moons.
Kir Alep: A Yellow, Brown, Tan, Green Jupiter-like Gas Giant with 40 Moons.
Vulcanis VII: A Light Tan Rocky Planet.

40 Eridari C (Omicron2 Eridani C): A Red dwarf star in the form of a Binary Star.
Kerkhov: A Dark Teal Jupiter-like Gas Giant as seen in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds episode "Charades."
-Kerkhovian Moon (Known as Kerhovia): A Luna-like Moon which means a Kerkhovian homeworld, as seen in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds episode "Charades."
