Teekans are from great games Distant Worlds Universe and Distant Worlds 2 some of my favorite games
teekans are small nomadic rodent people with three eyes and hygiene issues, they collect tech and trash from other races and tinker with it, all their ships are thrown together piles of junk. i really love them:p

they have the worst soldiers in the game because they are small mouse people, i always imagined them with jezzails taller than they are, they hunt big dune sand worms so it fit in my head

so this is Dek a Teekan trapper with their trusty kenetic jezzail working as a merc for the dominant trade guild this side of the sector.
i imagine the teekans are very naive and inquisitive
