π³π³ Double Dashing at GCN Mario Circuit! π³π³
Here it is, Cloud! I was working really hard on it, and I decided to give the picture some taste by adding those blue flames behind the back wheels, a cool sunlight effect, and a speed effect as a reference to the box art of the game. And it makes sense that I'm a toddler in this picture, because I was 4 years old in real-life when MK Double Dash came out.
The kart is called the Thundercloud, just like the one I designed for a custom MKDS kart a while ago.

Now that I'm looking closer it looks as if your head was the front of the car and I'm steering the wheel. Depends on how you look at it though (it's a matter of perspective). You're the one steering here and hanging over the edge of the kart towards the ''camera''.
Yep, one of the most controversial items in the series, ever since MK64. But not the way you think today. Today it is controversial because of the exact OPPOSITE problem -- it travels across the ground and hits racers at the center of the track, while 1st place if he or she has a Super Horn, he or she can just eliminate the spiky blue thing with one press of a button, which totally defeats the purpose of the Blue Spiny Shell being in the games.
Super Circuit is a really underrated game! It introduced the Ranking system, day-to-night transitions, Retro Tracks, and it's the only main-line MK to have a random character selecter option in its character select screen.
I don't ~hate~ MKDS, but I do have to say from experience that it doesn't feel that great to me to play nowadays. It's definitely way overrated in my opinion. I do respect the people who do like it, but there's just... something that doesn't click with me with DS. Not because of the way the game works, I'm actually pretty good at playing the game. But it lacks... ~something~, that Super Circuit did have. Maybe it's because of the early 3D graphics, maybe it's the way the game looks overall. I don't know.
