That is a good question. I’m sure myself, and I took the picture. This area does have a lot of plant life including acorns, but as one my notice there is water in the background, that’s lake water, this picture was taken at a lot, so it could be a lot of things, but I had to guess maybe a acorn, that or maybe it’s just how the stick is?
