These ones are of the Lilac Geophylla variety...Poisonous little suckers, according to the book. XD I decided to do a speed paint the other day of more mushrooms to relax after spending almost 5 and a half hours in the math lab...I don't think it turned out as good as the last one, honestly, and it also didn't end up being a SPEED paint...Oh well, just wanted to finish it and get it out of the way XD Good practice, anyways.

Well actually, they tasted like shit. But listening to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGcb_F313is made me feel like I was going around the world on them. ^^
Stamets writes guides. I was actually thinking of Arora though (I get names mixed up...go figure.) David Arora wrote my three favorite mushroom books: "Mushrooms Demystified," "All that the Rain Promises and More," and one on medicinal mushrooms which I have (it's packed, and I can't remember the title.)
Mushrooms are fascinating.
I was actually trying to find a quote from "All that the Rain Promises and More" to post to give to our magic mushroom eating commenter as something he should take a lesson from, but I can't find it (and I don't have the book, a friend does.) In short, 'shrooms' and other entheogens are tools not toys. When used appropriately, they allow one to explore oneself in ways impossible otherwise. But abused, they just lead to stupid laws.
