I'm sure most forgot all about this story concept. I didn't, just got put on the backburner and eventually got to it. Doesn't help that I haven't been writing much of anything this past year so things with only one chapter done so far have a higher chance of being rolled. Anyway, chapter 1. And Already I'm running into a consistency error in my own story in that the bobcat is the one asking about portals at the start, implying they haven't seen them before, then later it's the bobcat lecturing Kanial about being unreliable to know to get away from the entrance of the portal. And couldn't really figure out best way to just bypass that so instead I'll just ignore it.

Current Realms involved: They start in Dorinn and are traveling to Ghouth

Anyway, State of Dissent is designed to be a more collaborative story project, potentially with multiple writers working together developing it out and eventually creating a more comprehensive story. So it's open for anyone to add in chapters as well, even in any of the other realms (see the encyclopedia list). Else I'll just do my own thing with it as I assume most wouldn't care. Though if I need to further flesh something out, let me know.
