yeah I like how the lights came out, this is the first light mod I've done

I want to do my slash 4x4 up with aluminum and a rollbar. all i have done to it so far is a 9.6 volt battery, anti sway bars (a must for asphalt driving) and a stainless hardware conversion.

my truck has a roll cage, RPM front and rear bumpers and shock, towers bumpers, front control arms, and mud flaps, a Titanite 15T double wound motor, and a full set of new rims with the BFG tires on them, thosa tires didn't come with the truck, but I like them

sweetness. as soon as i get the money to get the metal control arms, they are next.

I'd stay away from the metal ones, you can bend them, and it'll be imposible to get them back to their normal shape,I like RPM parts

On anything other than this, I'd piss on HID's :3 This is fuckin sweet

HID lights are High Intensity Driving lights, not necessarily LED, just BRIGHT, and usually not replacing headlights, but in addition to them mounted in the fog light area of the bumper. Purely for additional light, not for replacing shtock headlight fixtures. HIDs are also focused tighter for seeing longer distances than stock lights. The blue tinted lights you speak of, are just really bright bulbs available for any vehicle out there.

High Intensity Discharge* I am fully aware :P If you read the comments after, I thought he was emulating them with LEDs since they don't make HIDs that small for a reasonable price- but they were his only choice at the time.

We speak of two different types of lights known as HID. I have several pairs of "High Intensity" Driving lights(HIDL maybe?), according to their boxes(Boxes/directions use HID as the acronym for the lights), laying around. All bright as fuck, and focused tight, meant for blistering the paint off anything that gets too close. Actual use is for night time highway or freeway driving where animals should be spotted from as far off as possible, basically aftermarket add-on high-beams.

No, we're speaking of the same thing. That's what the acronym stands for. Personally I think they're the most annoying lights on the road. Even the lawfully aimed lights [from the factory] are nearly blinding and irritating. The vast majority of people who install them aftermarket don't aim them correctly and blind everyone else on the road, I usually return the favor with my 100w KC's or my rear facing flood lamp if I'm in the truck.

yeah, I had to custom cut the buckets, at the time I built this, there wasn't a kit that fit the F-650 body, but, like DJMedic from YouTube, we make due right

His vids are good, but I'm on the verge of avoiding his site permanently, he's a subscription mongering, register to view any part of the forum, pay to post your pix, pay to offer trades, likemelikemelikeme attention seeking little...

I understand he may want to support the site with donations, but the site leaves me feeling dirty after visiting it, his tactics are all wrong.

eh, well, nobody is perfect, and if you really look at it, the videos, and the site are his business, he actually makes money doing something he loves to do, we should be so lucky

I'd love to have the situation at home that we all see from Medic, yes. I just vehemently disagree with some of his practices. Mostly the fact that he won't let any mods on his site approve picture uploads or forum signatures of any sort unless the uploader is a paid subscriber to the site, and you have a 20 post viewing limit if you don't have an account.

I administrate/lead a game skinning site, link available on my page if you're curious, where I require accounts to download the skins for our focal game, and WoT requires no account for skin downloads. There's never been a limit to how many posts, or images a non-member of the site can view, and it's never cost money to post, yet we get enough random donations, where the site's hosting costs won't run out for several months if donations stop.

I'll agree to that, but who am I to judge,I just love his videos is all
