This one is ancient. I'm guessing 2010, ish? Not sure. It's probably one of the first three or five images ever made that have Dao in it. Thematically, it's about... well, my sister and I not getting to grow up with each other. Both of us being furries completely independently of the other really help break the ice and build some bridges, but we still lived about 90 km apart and saw each other once every year or every other year. It took almost a full decade after that image was made until we finally really reconnected. She's gone through a number of character changes (and characters) since then, but the piece still speaks to me on an emotional level, so I just had to upload it as well.

Also, it's just damned well drawn.
