Markus was a fairly simply guy that took on a job for a handyman position at a warehouse, what everyone failed to mention was the warehouse is where old stuff from the Freddy Fazbear locations was kept and some of the stuff still gets 'quirky' at night.

He quickly found out that his best friend is a strong arm and a Monkey Wrench against damaged Animatronics that can be topples with one good SMACK but then he'd fix it up... As he worked their he got stronger and the animatronics and endo's just stopped messing with him, aside from one that he actively spent a deal of his shift trying to find the parts to fix them up.

Mangle never could fully get repaired but because Markus was actively trying to repair them, They quickly took to being friendly with him... Their presence helped him keep sane for as long as he could until one late night, Someone else was there that night and struck while he was doing the finishing touches on Mangle
