I think that purpose and meaning in what we do is a struggle everyone deals with, so its good to see it captured in text and art.
For me personally, I do struggle as the 'thing that makes the art' as it's the only reason most people speak to me.
Later on I figured out its because i'm good at what I do, not that people just want to milk art out of me.
This feeling can pop up now and then, especially when its only work/art talk for weeks on end and that's your only communication with people, but one grows accustomed to it.
The good thing is when you have outside connection with people and this described experience your normal, it really is special and meaningful and you really do care what that person has to say to you.

Thinking about it now, it's good to add that if you do something like art every day its super easy to forget that it's special and not everyone can do it.
So for me drinking coffee and drawing an icon is the same thing, while for you its a little miracle in front of your eyes. I think part of the 'cure' for the thing that makes the art is to remember its special without becoming arrogant about it.

I never knew this side of ya Electro. Nice to see it c:
Heh, I'm reminded of a friend who once thanked me when I went to visit his country for pointing out all the cool things about it because he had long since forgotten about them and just didn't even consider them anymore.

Yeah! You don't go visit all the cool tourist spots until someone comes to visit because you live there.
And you can forget your art is special until you see someone truly appreciating it and connecting with it.
As for this side of me, it's there. Just more personal than public I suppose. I am a great fan of philosophy and analytical psychology so this is my jam.
