I finally colored and shaded Gushi's wild dragon ride picture. Not my best work and I spent way too much time on it. This pic is response to this post at http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/116080/ . 
gushi is in the hospital and I hope my drawing will cheer him up. This is supposed to depict me giving Gushi one of my famous dragon rides. It's my first time drawing a ferret so it's not very reconizable.
I hope Gushi enjoys the trip. I love giving rides and the riders seems to have a blast. I figure it'll be a good theme to cheer someone up..
Looks like I went overboard on the shininess again. If I had more time, I would add some texture to my skin. Gushi's fur came out ok considering my meager skill level. I did most of the work in Paint Shop Pro since I like the interface better and is slightly less bloated than PhotoShop. PS does have a better brush system than PSP so I switch back and forth between the two. I can't believe PS eats so much memory. :o
I think the background is decent. Try to find the tiny skier on the mountain. :) I hand made the wording (with a help of my 6x8 tablet). Still have some parts that I don't like but I thinks it's ok overall. So, what do you all think?

I'm happy you got out of the hospital (I have tons of stories also). I never had anything major but my brothers and family members have. So all I got was second hand experiences but know enough about understaffed hospitals and such. At least waiting hours on end gives me an opportunity to draw some sketches.
It seems everything turning out ok in the end. One scary ride. At least my dragon ride not scary (unless I dive straight down which I'm prone to do time to time). :p
