Eyes hid behind heavy doors as she turned away from the setting sun, leaning more on her friend. His posture unchanged, which held no complaints from her, given the comfort. Unaware that he took a glance at her, rolling the stock of grass between his fingers. Watching the sky night painted the sky, the stars sprinked across the vast dark ocean.
Images played like movies, of their first meeting. Her regular coffee, a comment leading through the maze of conversation that some stumbled through, that turned into a two year friendship.

A shiver from her caused him alarm that suggested more than what he would admit, his nature taking action by guiding her towards their campsite and getting warm, before continuing their travels."
