It was to be Darkrai and Yuri's first date. Since Darkrai had rescued him from his first mission, the two grew closer. Almost as though it was love at first sight. They both had feelings for each other since they met but neither one of them knew how to tell the other. Finally a miracle happened, Yuri's place of work was to hold a military ball. This is the perfect chance to ask her! He thought to himself. He had everything planned out. From the time he asked, to the night of the ball.
Darkrai sighed as she just got off a shift at the coffee shop she worked at, seeing Yuri waiting for her with something behind his back. She chuckled at the grey wolf, "heyyy whats up? whatcha got there??" Without another word, Yuri smiled pulling out a boutique of roses, instantly Darkrai's eyes enlightened. The wolf couldn't help but keep staring, he loved her smile and the way her eyes would light up like stars. "Awwww thank you so much! They're beautiful," Darkrai said as she took the roses in hand.
"So, my place of work is going to be holding a dance tonight, would you like to come with me?" Yuri asked her. Darkrai could feel herself start to blush as she'd shyly look at the ground and nod, then looking back to him still smiling. Yuri hugged her happily, "great! ill pick you up around 8 then". Darkrai was so happy, she almost didn't realize she was still holding him for a bit and then pulled away.
She flew excitedly off to her place to get ready, wearing one of her favorite dresses. Finding herself ready as she heard a knock at her door, racing to it. She found herself freezing and astonished seeing the grey wolf in uniform. Yuri was also breathless at the sight of her. "You look beautiful," He said taking her hand and kissing it. She instantly got red and thanked him, also telling him he looked very nice.
At the dance he'd court her and let her hold his arm like a proper gentle-wolf. Darkrai got to meet new people, some of those that Yuri had worked with and yet still didn't know the field he actually specialized in. If she knew.. I dont know if she'd ever look at me the same... Yuri thought to himself despairingly. To get away from the negative thoughts, he took Darkrai by the hand and asked to dance. Instantly she accepted and they took the floor.
Through the rest of the night, the two danced the night away, eyes locked on each other. Not even realizing time going by or how people would watch them or join the dance floor. For both of them, it had been the best night of their lives, hoping for more nights similar to come.
Sooo this was an amazing commission my brother 
had gotten for the both of us on his boi Yuri and my girl Rai. Its really a wonderful piece and I couldn't have been happier receiving it.
