I just learned today that Georgia and Century Schoolbook are part of a category known as "Scotch Roman".
EDIT: Oh, and Firefox on Linux actually uses DejaVu Serif, another Scotch Roman font, as its default serif fallback instead of a Times New Roman knockoff, so there's that.
(I spent almost 30 years building digital forms like insurance policies and letters and programming the systems that produced them. I love print)
