Personal art - Little shadow
Few days ago, the topic of my character Lazarus and his dragon, Wurvo came up during a chat. I recalled their previous designs/versions and realized how long I've been developing them across the years. 2012 are the earliest records I could find with drawings of them... So likely around that time (hard to remember exactly now lol)
He's not my oldest character, but one of the most dear... So I decided to draw them both a little older/further into the story than I typically depict them. They both endure a lot together and remain connected throughout. From the scared, small boy Wurvo found cowering alone inside The Mountain, into the King he'll later become.
