Think I finally exhausted all of my Sam muse. I'm sure you guys are getting tired of her.
I was tired of having no clue how exactly to draw her so I decided to buckle down and really define her as a character. It's not really a ref sheet so much as it's a study of key features of her appearance. But my concentration starting lapsing by the end and it gets kind of jumbled. Oh well, it was more for me as the artist than it is for you guys. No one ever draws fanart of my human characters anyway.
Probably because I suck at them.
Anyway, I used a ref for the pose of her sitting and for the full body sketches, but mostly to double check anatomical details. I had no idea where to put her ribcage.

Logos and tattoos are mine too, all but one (the one on her hip) which was part of a set of tribal brushes I downloaded.
Let's not art theft. She's not worth it, really.

I mean, I'm not one to complain at all- I love fanart, no matter what it is of or what the quality is. The meaning behind it really means the world to me no matter what the subject matter is. :3 But the fact of the matter is that it's really disheartening when people only praise and admire one character over and over and over again while the others are completely ignored. I mean, I have a lot of characters, I totally understand that it's impossible to evenly distribute attention between all of them, even for me as their creator haha. But my human characters in particular have so much work put into them. Because of my inexperience with humans as a species, whenever I use them for a character, I really have to try hard and sweat my butt off to make sure they're decent and not utter crap... and most of them end up as crap either way really. It's just really disheartening when all of that effort gets brushed off in the end. :/

Well I don't have many human characters to post refs of. x3 My main one Kagiso has had a ref (not here specifically but a variety of places, including my Youtube) for months, and that never seemed to make a difference. Though, to be fair, Kagiso has a pretty lame design. Even I think she's boring to look at. x3 All of the fun with her comes from her personality... wereyenaness included. >3
