For those who don't know, which is most people, the story behind Alex and "Altitude" is that our protagonist, Alex, wakes up one fine day and discovers that he is no longer human, also that he is seemingly un-killable.

There are plenty of very hard to kill characters that are also very interesting due to there inherent invincibility. Look at Superman, or Manji (blade of the immortal), or Alucard (Hellsing). All are virtually unkillable but are very interesting because of it, I'm hoping I can write a similar character.
